Launched in 2004, the Kigezi Education Fund (KEF) is ICOB’s flagship initiative and beacon project. Sustained primarily through the generosity of members at annual conventions in Europe and North America, KEF champions technical and vocational education to equip Kigezi’s youth with the skills they need to thrive.
KEF’s vision is to cultivate practical skills that make Kigezi attractive to investors and empower young people – especially those who could not complete primary or secondary education – to build meaningful careers and contribute to their communities.
We are proud to celebrate the commissioning of the ICT Centre at St. Agatha Girls School, Kakore Rubanda , a project made possible through the generosity of our members, partners, and friends around the world.
Thanks to your support, the dream of creating a fully equipped computer lab for over 800 students is becoming a reality. What began as a vision to bridge the digital divide has transformed into a space where girls can now learn, innovate, and compete in today’s connected world.
Yet, our work is far from done. Across Kigezi, countless schools still face similar challenges — limited access to technology, outdated learning tools, and untapped potential waiting to shine. The success of St. Agatha’s ICT Centre inspires us to do more, reach further, and keep transforming lives one school at a time.
Donate today and be part of the story of hope, progress, and community transformation.
